The European University engaged in societal change
Develop and experience new attractive forms of academic collaboration and exchange of ideas in Europe: that’s ENGAGE.EU. It allows students, academics, partners and professionals to move around, virtually or physically, between our ten campuses and work together to strengthen Europe’s capacity for innovation and dealing with today’s societal challenges.
ENGAGE.EU creates new ways to actively engage with society. Students, researchers, and societal partners work together in ENGAGE.EU Expeditions: a one-week intensive, international, and multidisciplinary programme, hosted by our universities on a rotating basis. Supported by experts and mentors, students search for solutions to challenges presented by our societal partners, such as energy (Tilburg), poverty (Vienna) or ocean sustainability (Bergen). Expeditions are a unique learning experience that allow participants to work in international teams and that strengthen the university’s role as knowledge hub connecting regional ecosystems in Europe.
