EUGLOH Connect Platform Fosters Collaboration and Innovation Across Nine Member Universities and Beyond
The European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH) brings together nine universities to collaborate across and between education, research and innovation, with an interdisciplinary shared focus on global health challenges.
EUGLOH aims to train future-proof professionals by equipping students and staff with the skills needed to shape the future of global health and beyond. This goal is brought to life through one transnational campus, a seamless and inclusive European learning and working environment that enables movement across universities, joint learning opportunities, and access to shared infrastructures across the Alliance. At its core, EUGLOH is committed to addressing societal challenges in global health by advancing interdisciplinary, co-created education, research, and innovation that respond to real societal needs and contribute to sustainable solutions.
EUGLOH Connect is a digital matchmaking and opportunities platform designed to foster collaboration and innovation across the nine EUGLOH member universities and their external partners. Open to students, researchers, academic and administrative staff, as well as non-university stakeholders, it serves as a hub for anyone looking to gain experience, share expertise, or expand their professional network.
Willem Volker, UvA student assessor 'The cross-pollination that occurs when students from different European countries meet one another is enormously enriching. Additionally, the alliance gives students who are unable to spend a semester abroad the opportunity for an international experience.'
Whether it is a student searching for an internship, a researcher seeking cross-border collaborations, or a teacher interested in opportunities abroad, the platform connects individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. Users can explore and share opportunities in education, research, innovation, and professional development, while also building connections beyond their own institution or country.
EUGLOH Connect combines a catalogue of open opportunities with a database of experts available for broader matchmaking and networking. By creating a dynamic space for collaboration across borders, the platform supports EUGLOH’s mission to enhance the educational and professional experiences of students and staff through activities centred on research and innovation in global health-related fields.
